Yesterday was Surgery
Surgery went well and I am doing pretty good, just healing and adjusting to this new band. I am feeling quite a bit of restriction already as the band is not yet filled with any saline. In six weeks I will recieve my first fill and then will see the real weight loss happen. My one HUGE complaint is the amount of gas I am experiencing. I am taking chewable mylanta to control the gas and it is working, but every time, without fail, I drink I get filled with gas, so i suppose mylanta will become my new best friend. Hey as long as it works.
I am not in a lot of pain right now, it is certainly being controlled with the Tylenol #3! My mom has the kids until for sure tomorrow, and maybe till Sunday, and then in a week from Monday we are flying down to Orlando for two weeks to visit with the other family. It will be nice to get away and be with friends and to have some freedom for a bit.
